Chase Sapphire Lounge by The Club airport lounges has been introduced by JPMorgan Chase. According to Chase, this provides a “new spin on the standard lounge experience.”
Chase is entering the airport lounge market in tandem with Airport Dimensions, the company that runs the current airport lounge chain “The Club.” Priority Pass holders will get access to the Chase Sapphire Lounge by The Club.
This is because the Chase Sapphire Reserve card includes a Priority Pass membership (though you may not really need this membership to get entry to the lounges).
Locations Chase Sapphire Airport Lounge
Chase has been somewhat tight-lipped about the new Chase Sapphire Lounge since it was initially unveiled.
Recent reports indicate that the first seven Chase Sapphire Lounge by The Club locations will be at Hong Kong International Airport and six sites in the United States.

Las Vegas Airport
The lounge will be limited to 4,500 square feet.
Southwest operates at Terminal 1’s C gates, right beyond security. The lounge is accessible by rail from Terminal 3 to the C gates.
Phoenix Airport
The new eight-gate Terminal 4 concourse in Phoenix (PHX) will house the Sapphire Lounge in the summer of 2022. Southwest Airlines will occupy this south concourse, and a connecting bridge will connect it to the north concourses, which house American Airlines gates.
Chase, Capital One, and Escape fought for the 3,500-square-foot lounge area, as per Phoenix Airport board meeting papers.
As seen by the number of applications, these slots at major airports are still in high demand. (Note that Phoenix has two Escape lounges and a Centurion Lounge.)
Chase is anticipated to start its contract term in February and install its lounge shortly after.
San Diego Airport
San Diego’s Terminal 2 West’s 11,000-square-foot lounge was built by Airport Dimensions and Chase in early November 2021.
Chase defeated Escape Lounge, Plaza Premium Group, and Aspire Lounge.
The Chase Sapphire Lounge by The Club will open in November 2023 with “locally inspired decor, local cuisine, drinks, and art partnerships,” as per San Diego Airport Authority (SDAA) records.
These records also state that the area will be on the mezzanine level between Gates 46 and 47 with a 10-year lease and $17.6 million capital investment.
Boston Airport
TPG was the first to report Chase’s approval to operate a Boston Logan International Airport lounge in June 2021. Logan’s Terminal B to C link will house the 12,000-square-foot lounge.
According to Massport meeting papers, airport Dimensions received a 12-year lease at Logan for a $20.4 million lounge.
Chase’s Logan lounge is expected to “build-out” in the first quarter of 2022. Massport images depict a wellness center, business lounge, shower suites, and family room.
Hong Kong Airport
The Chase Sapphire lounge at HKG will be in the International Departures West Hall near Gate 40. East Hall customers may shuttle or walk to the lounge. COVID-19 travel restrictions may delay this lounge’s 2022 opening.
New York LaGuardia Airport
This location’s details are the hardest to locate. It will be in Terminal B’s new Amex Centurion Lounge (opened in June 2021).
Washington Dulles Airport
The newest Chase Sapphire lounge will be 5,200 square feet and situated in Concourse A. Many foreign flights leave from IAD, and lounge designs feature two floors, with the bottom level being bigger.
Bar, eating, work, family, prayer, and kitchen are planned.
This site will compete with the 2023 Capital One Lounge at Washington-Dulles airport.
Chase Sapphire Lounge Entry Requirements
Priority Pass holders will get access to the Chase Sapphire Lounge by The Club. Since the Chase Sapphire Reserve card includes a Priority Pass membership, cardholders have access.
Not all of the prerequisites for gaining entry have been made public. Will day passes, for instance, be available? If you have a Chase Sapphire Preferred card, you may be eligible for a discount.
Although the lounge will have the Chase name, Priority Pass members from other companies, such as Amex Platinum and Capital One Venture X, should be allowed entry.
